The Ritz-Carlton Berlin with its Art Deco design is one of the most luxurious hotels of the city. It was designed by the architecture firm Hilmer & Sattler und Albrecht as a reminiscence of the Chicago School skyscrapers of the “roaring twenties” in the US. The hotel opened in 2004 and has 19 floors, 303 guestrooms and 40 suites.

In 2016, our partner office ABP I LÖ managed the refurbishment of all system components that are regulated by public law. The scope of work additionally included the planning of the new adjustment of all monitoring, open- and closed loop control, and optimization systems in the building.

The objective was to automate and simplify the functional routines of the building automation, ventilation & air conditioning, electrical and telecommunications installations.
